Tony Woodall

Founder & Managing Partner, Author, Leadership Development & Strategy

Tony Woodall is the founder of Rootstock and creator of Human-Rooted Leadership™.

A trusted advisor to leaders, Tony cares deeply about restoring the value of humans in the workplace. His work is dedicated to creating transformational experiences, developing tools, and sharing ideas that help leaders build legacy organizations.

Before starting Rootstock, Tony spent twenty years in sales and marketing leadership. In that time, he suffered greatly under bad leadership and caused others to suffer through his own. He founded Rootstock in 2019 out of pain and passion, to offer the world a human-rooted way to lead. Since then, he and his team have joyfully impacted thousands of leaders.

Tony is the author of the Human-Rooted Leadership trilogy, a series of business fables that bring the framework to life through story. Rebels and Tribes helps leaders turn team dysfunction into a human-rooted culture, Unmarked Trail helps them turn great talent into great leadership, and The Greater Work guides them in turning success into legacy.

Tony has also led Christian global missions and relief work throughout his adult life. He lives in Chicagoland with his wife, son, and daughter.

Kelly is an organizational development leader with a history of leadership development across industries, skilled in talent development, change management, and organizational effectiveness. Her coaching spans C-suite to frontline managers and is grounded in servant leadership. She holds the SPHR designation and is a certified professional coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Mayya Woodall, PA-C

Well-Being Professional Coach | Physician Assistant, Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Mayya blends medical expertise with personalized, human-centered coaching. She trained as a Physician Assistant at Rush University and holds a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Benedictine University. She partners with individuals and leaders seeking sustainable wellness, increased capacity, and long-term life and health transformation.

Joshua Woodall

Operations and Recruiting Services

Joshua handles administration and operations and works on the recruiting side, with a focus on client-side role clarity to build an ideal candidate search list. He has a B.A. from Wheaton College (with honors) and is fluent in Russian and Chinese.

Kristine Sims

Leadership Coach | Training Facilitator | Corporate Strategist

Kristine coaches emerging and seasoned leaders, is a key instructor in Rootstock’s year-long leadership program, and leads corporate strategy sessions using Rootstock’s Human Centered Design methodology. She is also co-owner of Verb DB, an identity creation firm.

Karman has more than 20 years of experience in executive and life coaching and holds the PCC credential with the International Coaching Federation. She is a certified Master Practitioner of NLP and an international conference speaker.
